One of the things I love most about my training and yoga is that I do so many different things. Keeping my training fresh, mixing up my workouts, doing yoga, calisthenics, hiking and running is what motivates me a lot of the time. Knowing that no week will be the same. Sure, I focus a lot on yoga and meditation, but in terms of fitness it’s so important to me to be versatile and to keep my body guessing about what form of exercise might be coming next. There are so many benefits to mixing things up including these ones… View Post

Ever wondered what to do in Finland? I’ve got you covered… Before you ask, no, you didn’t read that title wrong. Areas of Finnish Lapland have been recorded to have the freshest and cleanest air in the world – where there is a population of people living. Of course, places in which there are no humans will be fresher, but the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park is nearly as fresh as you’ll get on an active holiday. My vlog of what to do in Finland, which you can watch below is the best way to see what we got up to and how… View Post

Today I went out for my first run of 2017 using running meditation. I’m not quite sure how I let it get to January 30th without running… actually I do. I’ve been making excuses. Either it’s been too cold (which in the UK it really has been!) or I’ve been to busy. Those things aren’t lies, but they are still excuses. I’ve found time for yoga and the gym, even time for sprints, just not a longer run (5km is long for me). I was nervous last night just thinking about the run, so decided to get up and meditate… View Post

I feel like it’s been ages since I did a round up of my favourite fitness items (and a few other random things!), so now that the January sales are finishing up I finally took my eyes to the online stores to see what I liked for this activewear haul of sorts. Who am I kidding – I totally do that every day! What can I say, I’m a sucker for shopping and always have been. 😉 This month I’ve actually selected five of the six products from one website. This wasn’t intentional, I was just browsing and by the… View Post

I recently spoke about my favourite yoga mats over on my Instagram Story and had so many messages from you all asking more questions, so I thought I’d write a more thorough blog post about them all. Hopefully my guide to the best yoga mat will help you when picking which mat to next root your toes into. Please remember that these are the best yoga mats in MY OPINION and might not be the best for everyone. Before you buy a mat, make sure you read a few different reviews, so that you can make the right choice on… View Post

I’m very aware that this post is coming rather late, as we’re over half way through my #YOGANUARY challenge, but as the videos are free and will be staying on YouTube, you can take part at any time and repeat any flows or sessions that you like. The best way to think of #YOGANUARY is a month full of free online yoga classes! I’m so blown away with the comments I’ve had so far – So many people are loving it, which makes me so happy. I realised this morning that stupidly I haven’t told you all about it on… View Post

Ever since I can remember the Next catalogue has been part of my life. I know that sounds rather odd, but let me explain! I remember looking through it as a child wanting all of the pretty dresses and then growing up I’d flick through looking at the amazing homeware, dreaming of owning a house. Even in recent years despite the Next catalogue not being in my house, either my mum, my partner or I would be buying something from there. When Next got in touch about the launch of Next NX Sport, the new Next activewear collection, I was rather excited… View Post

Maybe mistakenly, I didn’t read any reviews of Kayla Itsines App, Sweat with Kayla until AFTER I had spent £50.99 on a three-month subscription. I had an odd moment of panic after pressing ‘buy’ and thought I should have researched it more. The problem with reading reviews (just like mine, of course) is that it’s just one person’s opinion of something, something that you might end up feeling totally different about. During that small panic I did read a few reviews, all pretty negative which then made my panic worse. Had I just thrown away all that money? Let’s just… View Post

Dear 2017, I’ve been told that because of the way the stars and planets are aligning, you will be a tough year for me. I’m still not sure how much I believe that, no matter how much of a star-gazing geek I am. But it doesn’t really matter whether I believe it or not, as all that knowing has done for me is to make me even more determined to work on myself and to overcome any hurdles that stand in my path, trying to knock me down. 2017, I’m not having a go at you. I’m actually so excited… View Post

2016 has been a pretty incredible year full of adventures. I’ve completed not one, but two yoga teacher training courses. One of those meant seven weeks in Thailand, by far the longest I’ve ever been away from family. I’ve taught yoga for a huge international brand in the middle of a London park. I ran my first 10k race. I started my YouTube channel. I’ve travelled to seven countries. And I’ve been featured in a few magazines along the way. To say I’m honoured and proud is an understatement. As I write this now I’m welling up because I feel… View Post
