This blog post contains a paid for advertorial for G Adventures. All views are my own.  It could be assumed that a hiking holiday is just a holiday in which you do a few easy walks and a lot of chilling out, but as those of you who have been following along with my social channels will know, when I go on an amazing hiking holiday, I tend to squeeze in as many long and tough walks as possible! The beautiful thing about hiking is that it’s for EVERYONE. No matter your fitness level, shape, size etc, you can find… View Post

This blog post contains a paid for advertorial for G Adventures. All views are my own. Hiking has been part of my family for many years, with my Grandparents taking my Dad for long walks in Wales when he was young. We still go to the same part of Wales now as a family and do some of the same walks, which is such a nice tradition. For me, hiking is such a beautiful way to connect with Mother Nature and to become mindful about the great outdoors around us. With technology as amazing as it is these days, it… View Post

Whether it’s yoga, surfing, fitness, hiking or a mix of all activities, there are a few things that you can do to ensure you make the most of your trip and have the most fun. Having just run my first Cat Meffan Yoga Retreat and with more coming up this year I hope my lovely guests take all of these things on board. One of the first questions I was asked by most people enquiring about my yoga retreat was “is it ok to come on my own?”. By all means come with a friend, partner or family member, but… View Post

My latest luxury travel adventure was to the new Atmantan wellness resort in India. Having only been open for one year, the resort is in near perfect condition with amazing facilities, BUT… yes, there’s a but. Rob and I both went to India with the view that we’d spend lots of time training, doing yoga, eating amazing food and relaxing under the sunshine by the pool… unfortunately not all of those things happened. Don’t get me wrong, Atmantan Wellness Resort is in a beautiful location, has friendly and very knowledgeable staff and has lots on the schedule for those of us… View Post

It’s taken me a little longer than planned to write this Bali travel guide blog post, but I wanted to find time to sit down and share some amazing places with you, so here goes. Sure, there are no doubt many more awesome places in Bali, but during our short trip, these are the places we stayed, ate in and flowed at, making up my very own wellness and yoga Bali travel guide. WHERE TO STAY Svarga Loka Resort – This place has a little slice of my heart and I cannot wait to go back. Read my full review… View Post

I always say that things happen for a reason and I believe that they do. Some things more obviously than others. About three days before our trip to Bali, the hotel we were due to be staying in let us down at the last minute, so I reached out to a contact of mine to see if she was working with any hotels in Bali that she could recommend. Within the hour we were booked in to stay at the Svarga Loka Wellness Resort in Ubud for four nights. Located in the Penestanan area of Ubud, Bali, the Svarga Loka Wellness… View Post

Ever wondered what to do in Finland? I’ve got you covered… Before you ask, no, you didn’t read that title wrong. Areas of Finnish Lapland have been recorded to have the freshest and cleanest air in the world – where there is a population of people living. Of course, places in which there are no humans will be fresher, but the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park is nearly as fresh as you’ll get on an active holiday. My vlog of what to do in Finland, which you can watch below is the best way to see what we got up to and how… View Post

This isn’t my usual kind of post, but I always feel it necessary to share awesome things with you that I love, so here goes with the best restaurants in Belfast. I recently went on a girls weekend to Belfast and where usually I’d have a big part in researching the best restaurants in Belfast, this time I went away not having a clue where we’d be eating. I trust my friends though, they’re all foodies and massively appreciate a good meal. One thing I’d say is that we didn’t go for fancy restaurants that serve tiny artistic-looking portions. What we… View Post

In all honesty I don’t really know where to start with this blog post, which is probably why it’s taken a little while for me to write it. The six weeks of my life recently spent with All Yoga Thailand have been a whirlwind experience full of many highs and many lows! Those of you who have been following my journey on Instagram and Snapchat may have already read some of my emotional little captions, but I can safely say that they were just the tip of the iceberg compared to what my mind was going through. The 300hr advanced… View Post
