Just because I’m out in Thailand doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping my eyes peeled for new collections from my activewear favourites from the brands and retailers I love. If anything, I’ve been opening even more emails to see new product, as I can’t wait to get home and wear lots of new pieces. As I haven’t done a fitness fashion picks for a little while, it was super tough to edit my favourites down to just six, but here they are. I hope you agree, these activewear items would look just lovely in our wintery wardrobes and it helps… View Post

I recently taught a soothing flow yoga class on the rooftop of the beautiful Ham Yard Hotel in London, to celebrate the new PureLime activewear collection, now stocked on QVC. So many of you saw my snapchat from the morning and were asking where my outfit was from, so now I can finally share it with you! To go alongside the launch, I wanted to share some of my favourite postures with you. Calling them my favourites might be a bit much, as I love sooooo many asanas and even the ones I don’t like have many benefits, but these… View Post

As someone who reads and writes a lot of activewear reviews, I was recently left a little stumped when I couldn’t find the information I was looking for about one of the best yoga brands out there. I wanted a good, honest and informative alo yoga review. alo yoga is one of my favourite yoga brands, a brand that I’m constantly recommending to people, but even the best things in life aren’t perfect, so I thought I’d write you an alo yoga review, just in case you’re looking to buy something from the collection. You’re now prepared. I’m not going to… View Post

Obonjan Review: The Do’s & Don’ts Rather than write you a big long Obonjan review I thought doing a list like this would be easier to for me to get the important points across. These are the things I really wanted to share with you about Obonjan, so for anyone heading out there before this season comes to a close or for those of you intrigued and thinking about booking it next year, have a read. DO set your alarm early for 7:30am yoga on the decking. Whether rain or shine (yes, we had one morning of thunder & lightening),… View Post

Some of you may have seen one of my recent Instagram posts about my new yoga toy… my Yogi Bare yoga wheel. I was very honest with you in saying that prior to now I haven’t used one and I didn’t really get why people did, as I couldn’t work out the benefit (how close-minded of me!). Since getting one from a very good friend of mine a few weeks ago, I can officially say that I love it, especially as I struggle with back pain quite a lot. A few people have requested that I do an introductory blog post… View Post

Firstly I want to start this post by saying I’m still not sure I’ve found the absolute best running trainers for me, but that could be down to my many knee and joint issues. Now that I write those words down, I know that the issue isn’t with the trainers, it’s with the way I run and the problems I continuously have with my EDS III. These three pairs are definitely the best I’ve tried and I actually run in all of them still – I have a pair at my parent’s house, a pair at my home and then a pair… View Post

This month I’ve partnered with online retailer Surfdome to spread the love of the new summer bikini campaign, which I love as I can share my favourite beach yoga bikini photos with you. What I love about this is it’s not about just putting on a pretty bikini and sitting by the pool (as lovely as that sounds!), Surfdome is championing getting active in your bikini, so for me, it’s all about beach yoga and meditation. As part of this collaboration and my love of yoga on the beach, I wanted to share some helpful little tips with you when it… View Post

Regular readers of the blog will know that I recently ran my first ever 10k and even though it was tough, like really tough, it hasn’t put me off running. Quite the opposite actually. Running a 10k, reading so many beginner running tips and having some analysis completed on my feet just spurred me on even more to keep at it. Rather than just pound the road, not really knowing what I need to change and why, I’ve gone back to the drawing board and am running two 5k’s a week in order to work on my technique. With the… View Post

Turmeric is a spice that has probably been sitting in yours or your mum’s cupboard for years, so why suddenly has it become the ‘it’ superfood? Do you remember the kale boom? Not many people had heard of it, it wasn’t available in the shops and now it’s in every supermarket you walk into.  There’s no denying that kale is a great source of nutrients, but sometimes you have to wonder if it’s just a lot of media hype that makes it sound better than it is. The same goes for the turmeric supplement benefits. Turmeric is commonly used in cooking,… View Post

From reading the title of this blog post, I’d forgive you for thinking I’ve lost the plot, but it’s quite the opposite, I seem to have found the plot, or at least some of it. For the last four weeks I’ve spent time each morning shaking and tapping my body thanks to the Hayo’u Method, to see if these little rituals really can help relieve stress and any incoming health issues. This all began after I went to see Katie Brindle, founder or the Hayo’u Method, which has just launched online. Katie studied Chinese medicine for years after having an accident which… View Post
