Since changing to a plant-based diet last year, I realised that there was more I could do when it comes to animals, so I started looking into cruelty free skincare/beauty brands and making some changes to my beauty routine. I thought I was making good choices long before last year, but it was clear I needed to educate myself more. Some of you might not know that for a brand to sell their product in China it means that by Chinese law they MUST test on animals. Some brands are able to get away with saying they are cruelty free… View Post

This blog post started as a multi-brand winter fitness fashion picks and very quickly turned into an appreciation blog post for one of my favourite brands and the seamless base layers that they’ve launched this year. Here’s looking at you Sweaty Betty and your amazing Sweaty Betty seamless leggings and tops! *insert heart eyes emoji* For many the start of Christmas is signalled by a Christmas song on the radio, the John Lewis Christmas advert, maybe advent calendars in the supermarket or the switching on of Christmas lights. Those things are fun and all, but the real sign that Christmas is… View Post

Beauty isn’t something I talk a great deal about on the blog, but sometimes it just feels good to share! Today I’m sharing the best face oils with you. Ever since my trip to Finland back in February I’ve been using a nighttime face oil, so I wanted to share my favourites with you. Being in such a cold climate really took a toll on my skin. From the constant rubbing of my nose to chapped lips and dry skin wear I was continuously nestling my face into my scarf, my face really took a beating. One of the lovely… View Post

This blog post contains a paid advertorial with Oral B My nighttime routine begins with an alarm that tells me it’s time to put my phone away and start winding down the evening before I go to bed. In the wellness world we talk about having a morning routine quite a lot, but less about what we do before bed, our nighttime routine, which is silly considering that sleep is possibly the most important part of living a happy and balanced life. About 18 months ago I realised the need for a nighttime routine, so when Oral B came to me with the… View Post

Wearing: Leggings – P.E. Nation Sports Bra – P.E. Nation WHAT IS INDOOR BOULDERING? It’s my new obsession, that’s what it is. Bouldering is something that can be done indoors or outdoors, but seeing as a lot of us live in cities and towns, it’s not often we’re close to a good outdoor bouldering spot. Indoor bouldering is a form of climbing that is done without any ropes or harness, but there’s no need to get scared, as it’s not too high. You will have to wear climbing shoes, which can be hired from the climbing centre you go to,… View Post

My latest luxury travel adventure was to the new Atmantan wellness resort in India. Having only been open for one year, the resort is in near perfect condition with amazing facilities, BUT… yes, there’s a but. Rob and I both went to India with the view that we’d spend lots of time training, doing yoga, eating amazing food and relaxing under the sunshine by the pool… unfortunately not all of those things happened. Don’t get me wrong, Atmantan Wellness Resort is in a beautiful location, has friendly and very knowledgeable staff and has lots on the schedule for those of us… View Post

This post contains a paid advertorial for the new Decléor CC Cream launch. Those that have been reading my blog and following my YouTube & social media shenanigans will know that I spend most of my life make-up free. This is mainly down to the fact that I work from home and teach yoga, two things that I would rarely put on anything other than moisturiser for. That being said I do spend a lot of my time running here there any everywhere and sometimes I wish I had time to put on a little something to even out my… View Post

Best Books 2017: Seeing as today is World Book Day, it seems like a good day to tell you about some of the books I love, the reasons I read and also why it’s ok to read what YOU want to read. Let’s celebrate the best books 2017. It wouldn’t be a modern world without an annoying slither of judgement every now and again and where something like reading should be applauded no matter the book title, sometimes it isn’t. I’m not ashamed to say that apart from Anastasia Steele’s inner goddess ruining a few good moments, I hardly hated… View Post

One of the things I love most about my training and yoga is that I do so many different things. Keeping my training fresh, mixing up my workouts, doing yoga, calisthenics, hiking and running is what motivates me a lot of the time. Knowing that no week will be the same. Sure, I focus a lot on yoga and meditation, but in terms of fitness it’s so important to me to be versatile and to keep my body guessing about what form of exercise might be coming next. There are so many benefits to mixing things up including these ones… View Post
