A NEW PATH RETREAT
WITH CAT MEFFAN & NIGEL MCFARLAND
TYNRHRD RETREAT, DEVIL’S BRIDGE, WALES
CONTACT CATMEFFANYOGA@GMAIL.COM TO BOOK
Using both yoga, meditation, mindfulness and therapy, we will work together, shifting, opening and being curious about who we are, moving into new realisations and ways of going forwards. Nigel has been Cat’s therapist for over a year now, so they are excited to bring their expertise together to create A New Path Retreat for you.
The purpose of group therapy is to help individuals better understand themselves in the context of their relationships so that they can make more informed, healthy, and adaptive choices based on a deeper awareness of their feelings, interpersonal behaviours, reactions and patterns.
Healing happens through acceptance of what is, presence with ourselves and others, which cultivates trust & authenticity, taking responsibility for ourselves strengthens our emotional intelligence and capacity for greatness.
In this 5-night retreat we will open ourselves to the possibility of wholeness, discover our edges in a safe space, strengthen our ability to show up in relationship and trust others more, start to see our self-destructive tendencies, start re-patterning, using mindfulness and connection.
Located in the Welsh countryside, Tynrhyd Retreat will offer us a warm and welcoming base for our time together. Being in Ceredigion and the Cambrian Mountains, you will have ample space to be with nature and become present within your surroundings. The Tynrhyd Retreat estate is made up of four separate houses, with a beautiful barn area for us to enjoy our practices. There is also a private and dedicated space for one-to-one therapy sessions.
Cat is a 500hr qualified yoga teacher, sharing her practice and teachings worldwide through workshops and retreats. Cat’s classes will work through the body on an energetic level, as well as the physical, helping to open the body up for the therapy work. Expect fun, flowing classes in the morning and a wind-down each evening, always bringing the focus to the breath and how the practice makes you feel.
Cat’s belief is that everyone can benefit from therapy and having seen Nigel for over a year now, Cat is extremely excited to bring his incredible work to the UK.

Set in the small fishing town of Olhao in Portugal, our home for five nights, Casa Fuzetta, has been recently refurbished to not only highlight the charm of the area, but to bring a little slice of luxury into your stay. Full of hidden hooks and beautiful old features, the house is a truly magical place for all who stay there.
The rooftop area will allow us the perfect space to practice and for you to further your yoga journey. And it will of course provide space for lots of relaxing under the sun and an amazing dining area for our big brunches and dinner.
This is a huge part of any retreat and something I have put a lot of time into planning. There are also many eateries around in case you fancy eating out for lunch or dinner.

“Honestly this was the most incredible, incredible experience. I walked away with it with an open heart, a new-found passion for yoga, renewed energy and a bunch of friends. It was the first time I really understood the power of the practice and meditation and I’ve been trying to stick with it as much as possible.
“I cannot thank you enough for the week we have just had in the most stunning house. I always knew the yoga was going to be great and there was going to be a great energy around you, however I could never have imagined just how much it made an impact on me.”
“The food rocked, the venue rocked and the yoga rocked. I literally cannot think of anything I would like to change.”
Please contact email@example.com for more information and to book your place at my Portugal retreat.
Look forward to hearing from you!
